Normal People boomerangs back to charts top spot

Sally Rooney's Normal People (Faber) has bounced back into the UK Official Top 50 number one spot for a second week across lockdown.

Released in paperback in May 2019, the title has thundered back up the charts during the run of its BBC adaptation, which finished on Monday (1st June) — and also broke records for streaming through BBC Three. 

Charlie Mackesy's The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse (Ebury) retained second place, cantering into a 15th week in total atop the Hardback Non-Fiction chart, while Delia Owens' Where the Crawdads Sing (Corsair) leapfrogged Lee Child's Blue Moon (...
