Crime fiction publisher No Exit Press has acquired an "apocalyptic thriller" by financial market trader Clem Chambers.
Ion Mills, publishing director, acquired world rights to Kusanagi directly from the author, with the title the name of a legendary Japanese sword, equal to Britain's Excalibur.
Claire Watts will edit the book, Chambers' third, following The Armageddon Trade and The Twain Maxim.
All three feature hero Jim Evans, an extremely rich stock market trader whose fortune gets him into trouble. This title tells the story of a lost treasure discovered off the coast of Japan and the race to guard its ancient secrets.
Chambers is a trader, stock market analyst and c.e.o. of ADVFN, a stocks and shares website.
Kusanagi will be published in hardback in March 2011.
