Hodder & Stoughton's personal development imprint Yellow Kite is to host a two-day online festival to help people stay on track with their New Year’s resolutions.
This is the Year, which takes place this Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd January, will help “transform your body and mind, get you back on track with your resolutions and guarantee to make 2015 the year that you live a better life”.
Ten authors from the Yellow Kite list will be sharing their expertise throughout the festival with live interactive discussions, videos and exclusive articles all shared online.
Events include access to an exclusive recipe from Ella Woodward’s book Deliciously Ella; a step by step meditation session from mindfulness expert Padraig O’Morain; an opportunity to have parenting questions answered by Shefali Tsabary, author of The Conscious Parent; healing words of poetry from Black Rainbow author Rachel Kelly; and a video Q&A with 10% Happier author Dan Harris.
There will also be announcements of what to expect from Yellow Kite in 2015.
Liz Gough, publisher at Yellow Kite, which is a year old this week, said: “I am so proud of what we’ve published at Yellow Kite in our first year, and this is a wonderful moment to bring lots of our authors together to help readers and fans get on track with their health and personal ambitions for 2015. Get online and join us – it’s going to be brilliant.”
A full programme of events can be found on the Yellow Kite festival website.
