Multimedia publisher OWN IT!'s next project The Group Therapy Programme: (Interpersonal Learning) will feature an animated film, a multi-media digital book and a music EP.
The Group Therapy Programme: (Interpersonal Learning) is a fictional therapy session where a group of characters share their feelings about love, loss, depression and heartache through a series of animated songs threaded together to form one story. The project will be released as a multi-media digital book as well as an animated film and music EP. The publisher holds all rights to the project.
The contributors include an "eclectic" mix of artists including four singers, four illustrators plus an animator and songwriter.
The project will be launched at Stoke Newington Literary Festival on the 4th June, 4-5pm at Rio Cinema in Dalston.
The launch consist of a screening of the animated film followed by a panel discussion and Q&A with a mix of the contributors talking about the creative process of working on this kind of collaborative project. Tickets are £3 and can be bought at OWN IT!'s website.
The project is supported using public funding by Arts Council England.
