A new logo has been designed for the second Independent Booksellers Week this year marking the "evolution" of the initiative.
Designed by marketing consultant Damian Horner and creative agency Unreal, the logo features an open book with a pair of running legs beneath.
The design will feature on all point-of-sale and publicity material for the week, which takes place 15th-22nd June.
More than 100 booksellers have already signed up to take part, and the Booksellers Association is in talks with publishers "large and small" over support for the campaign.
Meryl Halls, head of membership services at the BA, said the purpose of designing a new logo was to create "a memorable design that would stand out amongst the many brands on the high street, just as independent booksellers do".
She added: "It is fresh and funky, yet timeless, and it will stand as the logo of Independent Booksellers Week for the foreseeable future."
