Jamie Oliver’s new book will focus on healthy eating, following a “personal journey” taken by the TV chef.
Penguin Random House’s Michael Joseph division will publish Everyday Super Food in August this year, to tie in with a new six-part Channel 4 series.
The book will contain recipes for 30 breakfasts, 30 lunches and 30 dinners, and ideas for healthy snacks and drinks.
Oliver has also “taken advice from top experts in the world of nutrition, health and sleep and the result is what Jamie does best, lots of bite-sized information and delicious recipes”.
Louise Moore, m.d. of Michael Joseph, said: “This is an exceptional cookbook from Jamie. We all know that healthy eating is such an important message for us to engage with and Jamie brings his trademark passion and accessibility to this subject making it simple and delicious.”
Oliver said: “My wish is that through incredible food, this book will inspire and empower you to live the healthiest, happiest, most productive life you can. Food is there to be enjoyed, shared and celebrated and healthy, nourishing food should be colourful, delicious and fun. This book is full of exciting, well-rounded, balanced recipes that will fill you up, tickle your taste buds and most importantly, because I’ve done all the hard work on the nutrition front, every choice is a healthy choice.”
Everyday Super Food will be published by Michael Joseph on 27th August 2015 as a £26 hardback.
