Stanfords, the 150-year-old independent travel bookseller, is to open a new shop in Manchester and refit and expand its Covent Garden flagship. The company has completed its first brand review since 1989.</p><p>
One year on from its demerger from former parent company George Philip Properties, Stanfords is to reinvent its corporate identity to bring it "into the 21st century".</p><p>
