Murtagh reveals Mog masterclass

Ann-Janine Murtagh, executive publisher of HarperCollins Children’s Books, is expecting her “biggest ever Christmas” thanks to a partnership with Sainsbury’s, which has resulted in Judith Kerr’s picture book feline Mog starring in the supermarket’s festive TV advert.

The commercial shows clumsy Mog accidentally destroying her family’s house at Christmas through a series of mishaps. Crisis is averted, however, when the neighbours rally round to ensure the family don’t miss out on the festivities.

The advert aired on 12th November on all channels and has so far racked up eight million views...
