Paul Murray’s Man Booker-longlisted novel Skippy Dies (Hamish Hamilton) is to be adapted for the big screen by Irish film-maker Neil Jordan.
Jordan has directed films including “The Crying Game”, "The End of the Affair” and “Michael Collins”. He is also due to film Neil Gaiman’s children’s novel The Graveyard Book (Bloomsbury).
The film of Skippy Dies is to be produced by Number 9 Films, which made “How to Lose Friends and Alienate People”.
