Murnane's mum hacks to Seven Dials

Seven Dials has bagged The Little Book of Mum Hacks by "mumfluencer" Kate Murnane.

Ru Merritt, senior editor of Seven Dials, acquired world rights from Nikki Leste at Channel Mum and will publish the book in hardback and e-book on 18th February 2021, priced £12.99.

The book, billed as the perfect gift for all mums and mums-to-be, contains more than 150 tips and tricks to help make parents’ lives easier. They range from day-to-day advice, such as streamlining the school run and preparing meals wtih the minimum fuss, to tips for taking care of a newborn baby and going on holiday.

Murnane has been vlogging about being a mum for more than 10 years and her book draws on her own experience of raising two boys as well as from talking to mums from around the world through her social channels.

Merritt said: "Kate is such a beloved and popular member of the mum influencer community and her book will be perfect for anyone who enjoyed Five-Minute Mum and The Little Book of Self-Care for New Mums. She’s got so many invaluable tips and tricks–I’m constantly amazed by her creativity–and I can’t wait to send copies to all the mums I know."

Murnane said: "Motherhood doesn’t come with a manual so that’s why I’ve written this ‘mum-ual’, packed with all the most helpful tips and tricks I’ve learned on this rollercoaster journey called parenthood. I fervently believe us parents do better together when we share experiences and lift each other up. That’s why I’m so excited to share these helpful hints tried, tested and loved by mums and dads around the world."
