Mother's Day boost for book sales

<p>Sales in the week leading up to Mother&#39;s Day last Sunday (18th March) came in at &pound;29.6m -- the second highest weekly total of the year -- with concerted promotions across fiction, non-fiction and children&#39;s books.</p><p>The nation&#39;s favourite choice for a Mothering Sunday purchase was Danielle Steel&#39;s The House (Corgi), which sold an astonishing 57,444 copies, the most by a non-charity book this year.
