More Robyn Young for Hodder

Hodder & Stoughton has signed four more books by historical novelist Robyn Young, with publisher Nick Sayers acquiring UK and Commonwealth rights, excluding Canada, from agent Rupert Heath.

The new books will form a series entitled Renaissance, set in the late 15th century, which will follow soldier of fortune Jack Vaughn across the war-torn continent of Europe and into a dark conspiracy at the heart of the English court.

Sayers said: "Robyn has been a bestselling success story for Hodder right from her first book, and I'm so pleased that we now know what she will be turning to after the Insurrection series, and the whole house is thrilled to continue our publishing relationship."

Translation rights are represented by Heath and US rights by Dan Conaway at Writers' House.
