Century has signed a new three-book deal with novelist Lisa Jewell, as the imprint plans a new cover treatment for the author.
Century and Arrow publisher Kate Elton acquired UK and Commonwealth rights through Jonny Geller at Curtis Brown.
The new look, described as "bold and ambitious" by the publisher, will begin with the b-format publication of After the Party in April, followed by Jewell's latest title The Making of Us in trade paperback in May.
Elton said: "I"m absolutely delighted that we have a new deal with Lisa. With The Making of Us she's written her best book to date, and our re-package will appeal both to her core market, and to the legions of readers looking for immensely high-quality storytelling and a simply unforgettable novel.
"We're hugely excited to be planning the next few years of Lisa's career, and further building her reputation as one of the most talented British writers working today."
Century will publish the first book in the new deal in trade paperback in May 2012, with Arrow to publish a mass-market paperback edition a year later.
