More books for ethnic minorities plea

<p>Liz Bury</p><p>More books appealing to children from black and minority ethnic backgrounds are needed if supply is to keep up with demand, a conference on diversity in children's publishing heard last weekend.</p><p>More than 200 publishers, booksellers, librarians, authors and educationalists packed out Diversity Matters, a two-day Arts Council England (ACE) event.
