The deal, for UK and
Commonwealth rights, was conducted via Jane Judd.

The first book in the deal is entitled Virgin Widow, and will be published in May 2010. The book will look at England through the eyes of Anne Neville, who was married to the infamous Richard III.

West said the book was a "vivid evocation" of the queen's life. "Anne Neville was one of England’s most significant heiresses, daughter to the most influential power-broker of the day and wife to Richard III – yet her story has never really been told," she said.
