Hot London Book Fair title The Miniaturist has now been sold in 30 territories ahead of its publication next year.
The book, written by debut novelist Jessie Burton, was signed up by Picador in a six-figure auction-winning bid ahead of LBF this year. US rights were signed in a similar deal at HarperCollins imprint Ecco.
Juliet Mushens at The Agency Group UK has now sold rights across 27 languages in 30 territories, with Romania the 30th place to sign it up.
Mushens said: "With eight months to go before publication, I’m confident that many more deals will be struck."
The Miniaturist is set in 17th-century Amsterdam, and follows 18-year-old Nella who marries a wealthy merchant. When he gives her an exact replica of their home as a wedding gift, real-life dramas are soon mirrored in miniature form.
Burton has previously worked as an actress, and was one of the first Curtis Brown Creative students.
Picador will publish the title as its super-lead in July 2014, with Ecco following in September.
