Milnes-Smith to become literary agent

<p>Philippa Milnes-Smith, former managing director of Puffin, is to become a literary agent. She will join the LAW (Lucas Alexandar Whiteley) agency on Monday (3rd December)as a director, specialising in children's publishing and media.</p><p> She will represent authors, illustrators and children's properties and hasalready signed a deal with licensing company The Copyrights Group tohead their UK business development. Ms Milnes-Smith left her post at thehelm of Penguin-owned children's publisher Puffin this summer.</p>
