Michel Faber to publish YA novel with Transworld

Michel Faber is publishing his first novel for young adults with Transworld. The “one-off” book breaks a four-year hiatus from novel writing since his last, The Book of Strange New Things (Canongate), which Faber said he believed would be his final one. The new book will be published in October 2019.

Faber, who up until now has been solely published by Canongate, has sold over 363,000 copies for £3m through Nielsen BookScan, 60% of which (£1.8m) has come from sales of his 2002 bestseller Crimson Petal and the White.
