Michael O’Mara Books has agreed a licensing deal with Ameet Publishing to publish LEGO activity, sticker and colouring books.

Starting this autumn, children's imprint Buster Books will distribute LEGO titles in English across Europe, south-east Asia, the Middle East and South Africa.

Titles to be published across 2020 and 2021 include the LEGO Harry Potter and LEGO Jurassic World sticker and activity series, LEGO City sticker and activity books with mini figures, LEGO Iconic characters colouring books, search-and-find and building books, and LEGO Ninjago colouring and activity books.

Lesley O’Mara, m.d. at Michael O’Mara Books, said: “We are hugely excited with this new partnership. We admire the creativity and ethos of the LEGO Group, one of the world’s most-loved brands. We really look forward to working in close collaboration with Ameet to develop a new programme for next year.”

The first titles in the series, LEGO Harry Potter: Magical Secrets and LEGO Harry Potter: The Triwizard Tournament, will be published on 15th October 2020. Three further titles will follow this year, with 16 further titles to follow in 2021.

Dan Shepherd, international sales and marketing director at Ameet, said: “The UK, as well as the wider English-language export market, have always been a strategic focus for Ameet’s LEGO publishing. This agreement with Michael O’Mara Books will see the launch of a refreshed programme to meet growing consumer demand for colouring, sticker and activity titles around the world—especially during these times. The team at Michael O’Mara have a fantastic ability to reach all areas of the retail landscape globally, and we look forward to working with them through the coming years.”
