<p>Jonathan Cape has bought up UK and commonwealth rights to a novel about a gay musician and his keyboard-playing, hunchback lover, <em>Me and Mickie James</em>.</p><p>The book is the second novel of police worker Drew Gummerson and follows the pair&#39;s doomed attempts to make it big as a pop duo.
