Frankfurt Book Fair (FBF) is launching a new conference which will focus on seven different publishing markets. “The Markets: Global Publishing Summit” will launch on 13th October 2015, helping publishers around the world to “understand and create partnerships in seven important current and future markets”.
It will replace FBF’s digital conference Contec, which was introduced in 2013 as a replacement for the digital-focused Tools of Change event. The seven markets are China, Germany, Indonesia, Mexico, South Korea, Turkey and the US; and they will be scrutinised from three perspectives: analysis, vision and players.
Holger Volland, FBF vice-president of media industries, said: “Like no other book fair in the world, the Frankfurt Book Fair is all about expanding your international business, networking and identifying opportunities on a global scale.”
