Simon & Schuster has bought world rights to beauty entrepreneur and TV presenter Jo Malone’s autobiography.
Malone, who founded fragrance empire Jo Malone London and more recently the Jo Loves brand, said the timing was now “right” to tell her story, and promised a book “filled with laughter, tears and twists of creativity”.
Kerri Sharp, senior commissioning editor of non-fiction at S&S UK, bought world rights from Jonathan Lloyd at Curtis Brown after a “hotly contested” auction. UK publication is planned for 2015. S&S will also publish in the US.
