Head of Zeus (HoZ) has signed another trilogy of books by Mid Bedfordshire MP Nadine Dorries in a “major” six-figure deal.
Senior editor Rosie de Courcy bought world rights to three novels by Dorries, in a deal brokered by Sheil Land Associates’ Piers Blofeld.
Since Dorries’ début, The Four Streets, was published in April 2014, the Liverpool-born politician has sold more than 750,000 units across all editions, according to HoZ. Last year Hide Her Name, the second book in her The Four Streets trilogy, was named by Amazon as one of its 10 top-selling books of 2014.
Blofeld said: “Nadine has had an extraordinary couple of years. She has a very rare gift for connecting with people, and in Head of Zeus she has the perfect publishing partner to build her into one of the UK’s most successful authors.”
De Courcy said: “Nadine is one of the most natural and inventive storytellers I have ever worked with. I could not be more thrilled that she has entrusted three more books to us.”
