MacKenzie to Little, Brown


Ursula MacKenzie, hardcover publisher at Transworld, has been appointed publisher at Little, Brown, taking over the publishing responsibilities of chief executive Philippa Harrison, who in January announced her retirement.</p><p>
Ms MacKenzie moves to Little, Brown after 15 years with Transworld, where she was involved in setting up Bantam Press. Her successes included The Horse Whisperer by Nicholas Evans.</p><p>
David Young, Little, Brown m.d., described her as the "dream appointment". "She will bring with her a keen and proven commercial eye for both fiction and non-fiction."</p><p>
