MacIntyre made Ebury m.d. as BBC deal completes

<p>Fiona MacIntyre has been promoted to managing director of Ebury following the completion of Random House Group's acquisition of a majority shareholding in BBC Books.

Brian Davies, who led the team negotiating the BBC Books deal, takes on the role of executive chairman of Ebury Publishing in addition to his roles as m.d. of the overseas division of RHG and director of Mainstream Publishing--which RH has a 50% stake in. MacIntyre continues to report to him.
