Lonely Planet signs e-distribution deal with Gardners

<p>Lonely Planet has signed an e-book distribution deal with Gardners, making the travel publisher&#39;s list of standard e-pub format titles available to the wholesalers&#39; customers.<br /><br />Over 100 titles from across Lonely Planet&#39;s country, city, regional, multi-country and Trip series are so far available, with plans in the next few months to begin converting all titles to e-books as they are published.</p><p>The digital books will be available to readers in the UK and throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa [EMEA], and are also currently live on Tesco.com and The Book Depository.<br /><br />The list was chosen from the most popular of Lonely Planet&#39;s e-books on Amazon.co.uk, and is the first time they are available outside of the site.</p><p>The price of the digital books will match the price of the print r.r.p, but with the additional 20% VAT which digital books attract. </p>
