Stephenie Meyer's Twilight saga is to be made available via the iTunes App Store, in partnership with Scrollmotion, creators of the Iceberg Reader.
Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn and The Host will be available from today (29th June) for download to the iPhone and iPod Touch. The trial programme between Scrollmotion and publisher Little, Brown will also include titles from Kelley Armstrong, Iain M Banks, Patricia Cornwell, Dorothy Koomson and Alexander McCall Smith.
David Shelley, digital publisher at Little, Brown, said: "I am really delighted that we're now able to offer readers the opportunity to own some of our key titles on the iPhone. I think the quality and readability of the apps is superb, and I imagine that many will be as seduced by them as we all are here."
Calvin Baker, ScrollMotion chief content officer, said:"We've seen tremendous demand for Stephenie Meyer's books on the iPhone in the US and we're thrilled to be working with Hachette UK to distribute her bestselling titles internationally through our Iceberg Reader application."
