Libri to lobby at library seminar

<p>Library charity Libri has renewed demands for an urgent overhaul of the public library service ahead of a government summit on its future. The seminar will hear calls from Libri's Tim Coates for work to begin in five or six model councils to improve cost efficiency in areas including staffing and stock processing. He will also call on publishers to give firmer support to efforts to improve the service.
