Liaison Group turns to returns

<p>Working parties of publishers and booksellers are drawing up plans to reduce returns across the UK book industry.</p><p>Companies represented on the BA-PA Liaison Group have fed in a list of factors they believe cause returns, and suggestions of steps that would reduce them. A publisher working party and a retailer working party are now analysing the lists. They will report back on 17th January, when the group will decide which issues to tackle.</p><p>They are likely to include over-ordering of new titles for retail promotions.
