Legend Press has acquired world rights to Jane Isaac’s third novel Beneath the Ashes, a "dark and addictive" psychological thriller.
Beneath the Ashes will see the return of DI Will Jackman, a murder and many secrets. Jackman must unravel them in a race against time to catch the killer before they strike again.
Lauren Parsons, commissioning editor of Legend Press, said: “Jane is one of the UK’s most exciting and dynamic crime authors today and her work has a large and dedicated following. We are very excited about bringing her third novel both to them and many new readers.”
The novel will be the third from Isaac published by Legend Press after The Truth Will Out (2014) and Before It’s Too Late (2015).
Isaac, who lives in rural Northamptonshire, studied creative writing with The Writers Bureau and the London School of Journalism. Her short stories have appeared in several crime fiction anthologies.
Legend Press will publish Beneath the Ashes in Autumn 2016.
