Lee and Andrew Child's The Sentinel stands guard in top spot

Lee Child's 25th Jack Reacher title The Sentinel (Bantam), written with his brother Andrew, has gone straight to the UK Official Top 50 number one spot, with 55,751 copies sold. 

This is the seventh Reacher hardback to go to the overall top spot and the second in consecutive years, following 2019's Blue Moon.

It is also Child's 50th week in the Original Fiction top spot in the Nielsen BookScan era. Blue Moon racked up a record 11 weeks in the category top spot on release last year.
