John Le Carré and Peter James were the big winners at this year's Sounds of Crime awards for audio crime fiction.
The awards took place at this week's Crimefest in Bristol.
Le Carré clinched the prize for the best abridged category, winning for Our Kind of Traitor, read by the author and abridged by Peter Mackie (AudioGo). Peter James was the unabridged winner for Dead Like You (Whole Story Audio Books). Both won a commemorative award by Bristol Blue Glass and share a £1,000 prize from Audible UK.
The eDunnit award for best crime e-book went to Philip Kerr for Field Grey (Quercus). He won £500, a commemorative glass award and an Elonex e-reader.
L C Tyler won the Last Laugh Award for best humorous crime novel for The Herring in the Library (Macmillan). He won £500 from Goldsboro Books and a commemorative glass award.
