LBF Daily: Google boosts backlist sales, say publishers

<p>Despite continued antagonism towards Google's Library Project, publishers involved in Google Book Search are reporting increased backlist sales and significant marketing opportunities, a session at yesterday's fair heard.</p><p>Blackwell's has put 5,000 titles into Google Book Search and has had 57,344 "buy this book" click-throughs. Amazon.com is the most frequent ultimate destination for these click-throughs, but Blackwell's own website is almost as popular.
