L,B signs up Gray for further two titles

<p>Little, Brown has bought the rights to two further novels by Glasgow crime writer Alex Gray. </p><p>David Shelley, publishing director at Sphere, acquired world English language rights from Jenny Brown at Jenny Brown Associates.</p><p>The two novels, which are as-yet-untitled, will continue Gray&#39;s series featuring detective inspector Lorimer and psychologist Solly Brightman. The titles are due to be published in 2011 and 2012.<br /><br />Shelley has also acquired the mass market paperback rights to Gray&#39;s debut novel <em>Never Somewhere Else</em>, which will be published in September.<br /><br />Gray has previously had six titles in the Lorimer and Brightman series published - the initial book was brought out by Canongate, with a further two by Allison &amp; Busby. The latest three titles were published by Sphere. Gray&#39;s next novel, <em>Five Ways to Kill a Man</em>, will be released by the Little, Brown imprint in spring 2010.<br /><br /></p>
