L,B celebrates McCall Smith with digital campaign

Little, Brown is celebrating the 15th anniversary of Alexander McCall Smith’s The No 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency this year with an interactive digital marketing campaign.

A “visual tapestry” of all the jackets in the series is on alexandermccallsmith.co.uk, where readers can browse and share covers; and the Telegraph website (the official media partner) is building a “hub of content” with a timeline, interviews and information about the series.

Fans can also contribute consecutive chapters to a short story McCall Smith wrote for his Facebook page, and each week the winning chapters will be uploaded onto an app. The 14th book in the series The Minor Adjustment Beauty Salon, is published on 3rd October (£16.99), The Limpopo Academy of Private is out now in paperback (£7.99).
