<p>Independent publisher Kogan Page has begun a business review after two years' tough trading during which US distributor LPC collapsed, leading to substantial costs and loss of sales. The UK company has sold its education and higher education list of 200 active titles aimed at teachers and lecturers to Routledge, part of Taylor&amp;Francis.</p><p>The move was made to help strengthen Kogan Page's balance sheet and to focus future publishing efforts.
