Kogan Page has scooped a book on the story of Elon Musk’s car company Tesla and its business models by Michael Valentin.
The publisher acquired English language rights for The Tesla Way, originally published in French, direct from the author. It will be released on 3rd August.
The book looks at the origins of Tesla, its journey to success, new business models and what will come next. It includes a mixture of the theory behind Tesla’s business models and its applications, examining the combination between the manufacturing world and the digital world.
The publisher explained: “The Tesla Way demonstrates that the fourth Industrial Revolution is well and truly underway and that there is one emerging system primed to take full advantage of it. This system, which will drive the industry’s shift into a hybrid digital and industrial sector is the brainchild of Elon Musk, the charismatic and controversial leader of Tesla.”
Valentin, a former manufacturing manager for Michelin and founder of OPEO, has also interviewed a cross-section of Tesla’s current employees in both the USA and France.
Helen Kogan, m.d. of Kogan Page, said: “We are delighted to be working with a global expert, Michael Valentin, to publish a unique book examining ground-breaking business models from one of the most visionary companies in the manufacturing and automotive industry.”
