Independent business specialist publisher Kogan Page is revamping its bestselling Creating Success series next year, with the books aiming to give a no-nonsense guide to key workplace areas such as dealing with difficult people and taking minutes in meetings.
The new-look series will launch with 16 titles in March 2013, with a new, attention-grabbing, colour-blocking cover style, and be backed by a marketing and press campaign. The titles include How to Deal with Stress, How to Write Reports & Proposals, and Dealing with Difficult People. Each will be priced £9.99, with updated content to back up the fresh look.
The publisher is also planning on running reader competitions through social media, asking readers how the series has helped them.
Kogan Page marketing manager Shereen Muhyeddeen said the covers will now work well online and instores, and represent the "practical and cutting-edge" content. The publisher is also planning to work with retailers to promote the series instore with special point-of-sale material.
