Sainsbury's and Amazon have joined the list of the partners for this year's Fiction Uncovered, which already includes Foyles, Kobo and Nudge.
Fiction Uncovered, now in its third year, promotes eight living British writers of any age who have already published at least one novel or short story collection. This year's list will be released on 16th May.
Amazon is to include a Kindle blogpost by chair of judges Louise Doughty, while Sainsbury's will be selling the eight titles as e-books on its site, with more details to be released on the promotion's launch date.
Kobo has donated eight Kobo Glo e-readers as gifts to the eight selected authors, and will also feature the eight Fiction Uncovered titles on its eBookstore at Kobo.com.
Book discovery website and app Nudge will host special video content and feature the eight titles in its weekly email. Fiction Uncovered has also partnered with NetGalley, which will supply digital access to the titles for the trade.
Foyles is also returning to support the campaign, with online promotion and a bespoke window in the Charing Cross branch for two weeks from 16th May, plus a return of last year’s pop-up radio station.
Independent retailers are also invited to enter a Fiction Uncovered window competition, with the winner announced during Independent Booksellers Week, and receiving a luxury hamper from Fortnum & Mason.
Tote bags can be ordered from hello@fictionuncovered.com and posters made available to download from the Fiction Uncovered website from 16th May.
