Knight to chair Jerwood Fiction Uncovered judges

India Knight will chair the judging panel for the Jerwood Fiction Uncovered Prize 2015.

The prize, now in its fifth year, highlights the works of eight British fiction authors. The prize is worth £5,000 to each winning writer.

Knight, author of four novels as well as non-fiction, will chair the judging panel for the 2015 award. The full panel will be announced shortly.

The Jerwood Fiction Uncovered Prize, run by The Literary Platform, celebrates the best of contemporary British fiction by selecting eight books to highlight over the summer months. It began as Fiction Uncovered and was last year renamed following a partnership with the Jerwood Charitable Foundation, who pledged a total of £80,000 to the prize for 2014 and 2015, with prize money going direct to authors.

The submissions deadline for the Jerwood Fiction Uncovered Prize 2015 is 23rd February.
