Kings Road Publishing launches new children’s imprint

Kings Road Publishing, part of Bonnier Publishing UK, is launching a new non-fiction children’s imprint.

20Watt will publish 10 titles a year, starting with the Anthology of Amazing Women by author Sandra Lawrence and the illustrator is Nathan Collins in February. It will sit under the existing children’s imprint, Weldon Owen, and be run by senior commissioning editor Fay Evans.

With editorial and design excellence already a bedrock of Weldon Owen’s output, introducing an artwork-based aesthetic enhances our offering within today’s more sophisticated non-fiction market and gives us an entry point into the UK trade.”
