The Kim Scott Walwyn Prize, which recognises the achievements of women in publishing, has teamed up with the Society of Young Publishers (SYP) to recognise “promise” among women in the industry.
The prize is now restricted to women who have worked in publishing in the UK for up to seven years. T
he winner will receive £1,000, sponsored by the SYP, as well as a one-day course of their choice, courtesy of the Publishing Training Centre.
The prize was founded in memory of Kim Scott Walwyn, a publishing director at OUP who died in 2002. Deadline for nominations is 21st March, with the shortlist to be revealed in early April, and the winner announced on 5th May.
