John Blake has signed a book by a journalist-turned-lawyer on the Rupert Murdoch story, for publication next February.
Called The Rise and Fall of the Murdoch Empire the book will be written by John Lisners, who worked for Murdoch in America, Australia and Britain before leaving to take up law a decade ago.
Blake describes the book as "a human story, an affectionate portrait, and a story like something out of Shakespeare".
One of Lisner's biggest scoops was the Jeffrey Archer prostitute story, broken by the News of the World in 1986.
Blake himself is a one-time Murdoch journalist, launching the Bizarre showbiz column when he worked for the Sun during the 1980s.
