Jo Fletcher Books, Quercus' science fiction, horror and fantasy imprint, has signed up a cyber-thriller, Seoul Survivors, from debut writer Naomi Foyle.
Foyle, who teaches in the English department at the University of Chichester, did a £30,000, two-novel deal.
The novel, set in South Korea, is to be published in February 2013. Editor Jo Fletcher called Foyle a “great new find”, describing Seoul Survivors as a “dark, passionate, flamboyant cyber-thriller set tomorrow or the next day with the world on the brink of catastrophic climate breakdown".
