Jill Mansell has signed a new four-book deal with Headline.
The deal for British Commonwealth rights was negotiated by agent Jane Judd and executive publisher Marion Donaldson.
Mansell, who is known for her romantic, comedic novels, has sold over 7.5m copies worldwide, according to Headline. Her books are available in 29 languages including in the US.
Her latest and 28th title, Meet Me At Beachcomber Bay, which published on 12th January, has so far sold 3,847 copies through Nielsen BookScan. It has also been in the e-book top 20. Bestselling titles overall for Mansell, as according to Nielsen for print in the UK, are Rumour Has It in 2009, selling 210,688 copies, and the paperback of An Offer You Can’t Refuse, which sold 208,131 copies.
Mansell said of her new contract: "I'm absolutely delighted to have signed a new contract with Headline, who have been the loveliest and most supportive of publishers for so many years now. Working with them is an absolute joy, and I look forward to writing four more novels with their continuing support."
