Simon & Schuster has acquired the autobiography of pop star Jessie J, with plans to publish in September 2012.
Non-fiction deputy editorial director Carly Cook bought world rights through an exclusive pre-empt deal from Cathryn Summerhayes at WME. The book will follow her rise to stardom and will be a fully-illustrated "behind-the-scenes look at Jessie's story so far".
Cook said: "Jessie J is an international superstar and with her stunning voice and message of individuality and integrity she is a great inspiration to her millions of fans around the world.
"This promises to be a stylish, very personal and hugely entertaining book."
Jessie J studied at the BRIT School, and has had success with songs including "Do It Like a Dude" and "Price Tag".
