IPG Report: Batch unveils new website for indies

<p>Batch unveiled its plans for a web- site to connect independent publishers and independent booksellers at the conference.</p><p>Speaking at a session on Sunday, Batch m.d. Fraser Tanner told delegates that the idea for the site, batch connect, was sparked by a presentation at last year's IPG conference by bookseller Christine Hanson. Publishers will be able to use the website "to communicate easily with booksellers who have built profiles detailing their specific interests."</p><p>Publishers will also be able to build their own profiles saying who they want their information to go to. ...
