IPA makes changes following China rift

An extraordinary General Assembly of the International Publishers Association, called at the request of members concerned about the admission of the Publishers Association of China (PAC) to the organisation, has voted in some key changes to the way the body will be run in future.

Nine countries—Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Spain and Sweden—called for the assembly, held on Monday 11th April, after the International Publishers Congress.
