Infropro Digital in £114.5m takeover bid for Haynes

Car manual publisher Haynes Publishing Group and its subsidiaries are set to be bought by B2B information firm Infopro Digital in a deal worth £114.5m.

Haynes, which is marking its 60th anniversary, began seeking a buyer in November in the hope of "securing a bright, new future for the group".

The company announced on the London Stock Exchange this morning (13th February) that its directors unanimously endorsed a bid by Infropro, owner of brands like Risk.net and Insurance Post. At 700 pence per share, the offer values Haynes at £114.5m.
