Indie launches travel-writing competition

<p>London-based indie publisher Reportage Books has launched a competition to find &quot;the new Bill Bryson&quot;.</p><p>Trains, Planes and Pushchairs: Reportage Press Travel Writing Competition is being run in association with Rosie Whitehouse&rsquo;s <em>Are We There Yet</em> and Magdalene de Lancey&rsquo;s <em>A Week at Waterloo</em>. Reportage is looking for stories of family travelling of about 500 words; the best will appear on Reportage&#39;s website and the overall winner will receive a copy of de Lancey&rsquo;s book.</p><p>The deadline for entries to is 30th September. Entrants can apply via the publisher&#39;s Facebook Reader&rsquo;s Group discussion board or by email to</p><p>Editor Laura Keeling is hoping to &quot;find a new talent that Reportage Press can work with in the future&quot;.&#8232; </p>
